Fisheries Reform in Indonesia

Dr. Reniel Cabral and Juan Silva published a 2024 World Bank report titled "Towards Higher Performing Fisheries: Options for Sustainable and Productive Fisheries in Indonesia". This report quantifies the costs and benefits of management and value chain investments in Indonesia’s fisheries and proposes policy options aligned with the Government of Indonesia’s goals for the sector.

This work was one of the conceived studies that informed the recent US$210 million investments of Indonesia in its marine resources.
